Megafon establishes Ukrainian long-distance branch

Interfax-Ukraine reports that Russian cellular and long-distance telecoms provider Megafon has formed a subsidiary in Ukraine, named MF Telecom. The unit was established in Kiev in November 2011 to operate in the long-distance transit market. A Megafon spokesperson told Interfax: ‘We opened the company MF Telecom for expanding and strengthening the provider business, which we are developing with our international partners.’
