TOT to converge billing

5 Jan 2012

Thai newspaper The Nation reports that state-owned telco TOT will consolidate the charges of all its telecoms services into one bill when it launches a new range of bundled fixed/mobile voice/internet packages on 24 February 2012. The company’s president Anont Tubtiang said that the ‘one bill’ policy and the multi-service bundles reflect TOT’s attempt to pursue a convergence strategy to expand its customer base. TOT’s services include local, long-distance and international fixed line telephony, voice-over-IP (VoIP), fixed broadband internet, public Wi-Fi wireless internet access and 3G cellular mobile voice/data services.
