Vodafone’s Dutch unit enters TV market with Reggefiber

Broadband TV News reports that Vodafone Netherlands is launching a triple-play – Thuis Internet, Bellen & TV – service in the country, thanks to a tie-up with fibre-optic infrastructure provider Reggefiber. At launch the new service, which includes the unit’s Vodafone TV product, is available in the municipalities of Barneveld, Beuningen, Emmer-Compascum, Groesbeek, Groot Salland, Leudal, Millingen aan de Rijn, Nuth and Zevenaar. Costing between EUR49.95 and EUR74.95 (USD71.66 and USD107.53) per month depending on the connection speed, the triple-play bundle is available in a 30Mbps, 50Mbps or 100Mbps option. The monthly subscription includes a basic TV bouquet consisting of 60 channels and 20 HD channels. Additional tiers are available, it said.
