BH Telecom selects Ericsson Nikola Tesla for fixed line upgrade and modernisation

Bosnian telco BH Telecom has reportedly inked a deal with Croatian vendor Ericsson Nikola Tesla under which the latter will upgrade and expand BH Telecom’s fixed line network. According to Balkans.com, the contract between the two companies is understood to be worth around HRK10 million (USD1.93 million), and Ericsson Nikola Tesla will begin work on the upgrades immediately, with a view to finishing the project by the end of 2011. Commenting on the deal, Nedzad Residbegovic, BH Telecom’s general director, said: ‘This new contract that we have made with Ericsson Nikola Tesla is a further continuation of modernisation and build-up of BH Telecom fixed network based on the most advanced solutions of our business partner. Thus BH Telecom is providing its users with the attractive broadband services of high quality of service and high quality of experience.’
