San Juan, Ponce get 42Mbps HSPA+ coverage from T-Mobile

Amongst a list of 55 regional markets recently announced by T-Mobile USA (soon to be acquired by AT&T) to receive upgrades to 42Mbps Dual Carrier (DC) HSPA+ mobile broadband standard, are three Puerto Rican cities: the island’s capital San Juan, Ponce and Mayaguez. The cellco is also launching the T-Mobile Rocket 3.0 USB dongle modem to support the new faster mobile data network across the US and Puerto Rico.
