Kyivstar’s net profit climbs 1.8% to USD486m in 2010

Ukraine’s largest mobile operator by subscribers, Kyivstar, has reported that its net profit in 2010 grew by 1.8% to UAH3.901 billion (USD486 million), writes Interfax. According to a document concerning the planned general meeting of the company’s shareholders scheduled for 28 April, the Vimpelcom unit’s own capital rose by 32.4% last year to UAH12.93 billion, whilst its number of employees was cut by 13.3%, to 3,240.
