Vivacom (formerly known as the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company or BTC) has reported a 4% dip in revenues for the full year ended 31 December 2010, although net profit jumped 45% to BGL116 million (USD59.3 million) as a result of reduced labour costs and consulting services expenses. Revenue from mobile services climbed 30% to reach BGL333 million, although this was offset by a 17% fall in fixed line sales to BGL561 million. Gross profit from mobile and fixed line phone services stood at BGL192 million and BGL467 million respectively.
