Charoen Pokphand to raise True Corp stake by 9% to near-65%

Reuters reports that Thai quadruple-play telco True Corp’s majority owner Charoen Pokphand Group plans to buy an additional 699 million shares, equivalent to an 8.99% stake, from KfW, to raise the parent company’s holding in True Corp from 55.75% to 64.74%. The company revealed the transaction in a statement to the stock exchange.
