Bulgarian daily newspaper Dnevnik reports that in the first nine months of 2010 Vivacom (formerly the Bulgarian Telephone company) has reported a 30% increase in revenue from its wireless operation, to BGL228 million, equivalent to 30% of its total sales. Revenue from fixed line services fell by 15% over the same period to BGL445 million (to stand at 66% of the total). Vivacom’s revenue on a consolidated basis fell by 4.3% to BGL670 million, while net profit doubled to BGL106 million, on the back of proceeds from the sale of property and the disposal of its National Unit Radio and TV Stations (NURTS).
