Jordan Telecom sees 9M net profit fall 11.3%

Jordan Telecom Group has reported that net profit in the first nine months of 2010 fell by 11.3% to JOD68.94 million (USD97.24 million). The telecom group, in which France Telecom owns a 51% stake, said revenues from its mobile and fixed line operations fell 1.5% to JOD317 million compared to the same period of 2009. Data services rose 38% to JOD32.59 million.
