Ukrtelecom’s higher speed DSL spreads to 50 cities

As from 1 November 2010, Ukrainian incumbent telco Ukrtelecom has announced that its upgraded ADSL2+ broadband internet access packages with maximum speeds of up to 24Mbps/3Mbps (download/upload) will be available to subscribers in more than 50 cities of Ukraine. The former monopoly operator, currently up for sale in a privatisation due to kick off at the end of the year, stressed that actual speeds depend on the capabilities of each subscriber’s line and terminal equipment.
