Nokia Siemens Networks deploys radio network for Haiti’s MultiLink

Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has been contracted by Haitian broadband operator MultiLink to deploy a microwave radio backhaul network to expand network capacity and coverage. NSN has also supplied power facilities to cope with electricity outages on MultiLink’s network, which provides services such as internet/data transmission and VoIP telephony. MultiLink is one of four operators in Haiti with licensed frequencies to operate WiMAX wireless broadband networks.
