27 Aug 2010

Croatia-based equipment manufacturer Ericsson Nikola Tesla has signed a contract worth EUR6.9 million (USD8.8 million) to upgrade the 2G/3G mobile radio and core networks of Bosnian operator BH Telecom. The upgrades will be implemented on a turn-key basis, the Croatian company, a unit of Swedish technology giant Ericsson, said in a statement. BH’s CEO Nedzad Residbegovic said that the deal is very important for the technological expansion of capacity, whilst the expansion will enable seven-digit numbers in its mobile network and facilitate improvements in management of post- and pre-paid consumer databases.
