1 Jul 2010

BH Telecom has signed yet another agreement with Croatia-based Ericsson Nikola Tesla, with the latest tie-up between the two companies worth approximately HRK60 million (USD10.2 million). Under the terms of the deal Ericsson has agreed to expand BH Telecom’s 2G and 3G networks, and commenting on the deal Nedzad Residbegovic, general manager of BH Telecom said: ‘Today’s signing of an agreement with Ericsson Nikola Tesla, [is] a continuation of the modernisation of BH Telecom’s mobile network to offer our customers a number of attractive features in the area of 2G and 3G networks as well as maintain the high quality of them.’

As previously reported by CommsUpdate, in April 2010 the two companies signed a two-year agreement under which Ericsson was contracted to provide support services for BH Telecom, alongside taking responsibility for the maintenance of the operator’s entire network.
