Com Hem revenues up 5.1%

Swedish cableco Com Hem has posted revenues of SEK1.054 billion (USD128 million)for the period January-March 2010, up by 5.1% year-on-year, whilst its EBITDA climbed slightly from SEK412 million in the first quarter of 2009 to SEK418 million a year later. The company’s cable broadband subscriber base reached 530,300 at the end of Q1 2010, up from 522,100 at end-December 2009 and 511,700 at end-March 2009. Cable telephony customers stood at 355,700 at 31 March 2010 (up from 346,600 the previous quarter), and the number of people signed up to a triple-play bundle of cable TV, broadband and telephony reached 244,500 (230,700 three months previously).
