BH Telecom and Ericsson Nikola Tesla sign network maintenance deal

7 Apr 2010

Bosnian telco BH Telecom has inked another deal with Croatia-based vendor Ericsson Nikola Tesla. This time the two companies have signed a two-year agreement which will see Ericsson provide support services for BH Telecom, alongside taking responsibility for the maintenance of the operator’s entire network. The deal is believed to be worth approximately HRK54 million (USD9.93 million).

BH Telecom and Ericsson have previously signed contracts worth a further HRK62 million, announcing in September 2009 a deal for the expansion of the former’s GSM/GPRS/EDGE infrastructure. The following month the duo signed a further two agreements relating to the extension of BH Telecom’s 3G network, as well as the upgrade of the telco’s core network.
