Vodafone Greece switches on 28.8Mbps HSPA+ service in Athens

Cellular operator Vodafone Greece has announced that it has upgraded parts of its network in Athens with peak theoretical speeds of 28.8Mbps (download), via HSPA+ ???? (High Speed Packet Access, Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology. The new speeds are commercially available through the exclusive Vodafone ?4505 USB Stick, offered free of charge by subscribing to a ‘Vodafone Mobile Broadband’ tariff plan. The upgrade will be rolled out to other areas of the country later in the year.
