Amino secures ICE IPTV deal

16 Feb 2010

IPTV platform provider Amino Communications has won a tender to provide set-top boxes to support a major IPTV rollout by ICE. ICE plans to launch services in the first half of 2010, targeting up to 100,000 homes across the country. Amino’s deployment of equipment will be phased over two years. ‘IPTV will provide our customers the better of the three worlds: video, voice and data, [and] also the opportunity to enter a new world of business and entertainment,’ ICE services division manager Adolfo Arias said.
