China Telecom selects Tinet for international Ethernet private line service

Tinet, formerly the carrier arm of Tiscali Group, and China Telecom (Europe), the subsidiary of China Telecom Corporation (China Telecom), China’s principal telecoms operator, have announced a partnership for an international Ethernet private line service. The service provides Layer 2 carrier Ethernet solutions to customers in cities across the world. Through the partnership the service will have coverage of more than 220 points of presence (POPs) in mainland China, over 70 POPs in Europe and more than 15 POPs in other regions.
