15 Sep 2009

Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has won a contract for a 3G network based on 900MHz frequencies from Tele Greenland, adding that the network will be launched commercially in spring 2010. Nokia Siemens will deliver equipment including its energy efficient Flexi base stations and highly efficient radio network controllers. Nokia Siemens will also upgrade and modernise Tele Greenland’s existing GPRS network with combined 2G/3G SGSN and Flexi ISN, to allow it to offer more sophisticated data services to its customers, including Father Christmas.
