International mobile telecoms provider Lycamobile has launched a low-cost pay-as-you-go SIM card via a partnership deal with Vodafone Netherlands. In a press release Lycamobile said its new pre-paid SIM cards and top-ups will be available from over 30,000 retail outlets. The MVNO is rebranding its operations in the Dutch market and to this end, has introduced what it calls ‘improved product functionality for Lycamobile customers’. The mobile provider is committed to providing high call quality services and plans to make use of its established network of interconnect agreements with more than 250 blue chip carriers across the globe, as well as capitalising on its flexible interconnect technology architecture that enables it to route calls on the basis of ‘best quality and lowest-cost’.
