Vodafone first to launch HSPA+ in Greece

Vodafone Greece has launched mobile broadband services based on HSPA+ technology, offering theoretical maximum speeds of 21.6Mbps (download) and 5.7Mbps (upload) and claiming a first in the Greek market. A press release says that HSPA+ services are initially available in selected parts of Athens, exclusively to users of the Vodafone AAi4505 USB stick wireless modem, with expansion to other areas to be announced at a later, unspecified date.
