State-owned telco HT Mostar has been listed on the Secondary Free Market of the Sarajevo Stock Exchange, according to Limun.hr. At the start of trading 31,586,325 shares were issued with a face value of BAM10 (USD7.15) each. The listing comes after the operator re-registered as a joint stock company in April 2009. HT Mostar should have initially registered as a joint stock company in 2002 after the public subscription of shares, and attempts to re-register were delayed following fears that Croatia’s T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT), HT Mostar’s strategic partner, could lose its pre-emptive rights in the process. The government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina holds a 50.1% stake in HT Mostar, while T-HT has a 39.1% holding.
