BT Ireland full-year profits up 18%

14 May 2009

Alternative operator BT Ireland has reported an 18% rise in full year profits despite the difficult economic climate, largely the result of ‘rigorous cost transformation programmes under way in the company’. The operator’s gross margin improved by 9% although underlying revenues, excluding foreign exchange movement, dipped by 4% to EUR892 million (USD1.2 billion).
