SK Telecom deploying WiBro network in Amman

South Korea’s SK Telecom (SKT) has announced that it will launch WiBro internet services in Jordan before the end of May. The company has signed a USD7 million contract with the government for the provision of the wireless broadband network. ‘We began to set up a network for the WiBro service in the Jordanian capital of Amman last month, and the service will be provided to more areas in the future,’ an SKT official said.
