Serbia’s Republic Telecommunications Agency (RTA) has published details of a tender for two fixed wireless access (FWA) licences. Companies wishing to participate in the tender must be registered telecoms providers and are required to pay a EUR1 million (USD1.32 million) deposit. A minimum one-off fee of EUR500,000 will also be payable, with the final amount to be made public after the auction. Requests to purchase the tender documents must be made between 6 and 8 April, while the completed bids need to be submitted by 15 May. The winners will be announced no later than 8 June 2009.
