TT&T seeks one million broadband subs by the end of 2010

10 Mar 2009

Thai provincial fixed line telco TT&T has introduced a 3Mbps broadband service for THB590 per month (USD16), a move expected to spark a high speed internet price war in the country. The development is part of a THB1 billion spending programme on broadband in 2009 by parent company Jasmine International. Jasmine wants to increase its broadband subscriber base from 400,000 at end-08 to 700,000 by December 2009, and to more than one million by the end of 2010.
