Tender for Telekom Srbija planned for Q3

The Serbian newspaper Vecernje Novosti is reporting that the government has reached a decision to invite bids for a strategic partner for Telekom Srbija this autumn. Based on the sketchy details published by the paper, the Serbian government, will sell a ‘minority stake’ in the telco. According to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms database Telekom Srbija is 80% state-owned, with Greek telco OTE holding the remainder.
