Vtel expands WiMAX network

Georgian Business Week reports that VTel Georgia has covered Tbilisi, Rustavi and Poti with its WiMAX network, offered under the brand MAXIMALI. The service was first launched in Batumi last week and has garnered more than 300 subscribers. The operator plans to spend USD30 million on achieving national coverage within two years.
