BH Telecom planning HSPA and IPTV rollout for early 2009

According to Eastern European news source Dnevni Avaz, BH Telecom general manager, Nedzad Residbegovic has announced that the telco will launch 3.5G mobile and IPTV services in 2009. The operator expects to begin commercial services within four months in larger cities, and has revealed plans to install approximately 130 base stations across the country. The 3.5G services will be based on HSPA technology, and BH Telecom expects to spend nearly BAM10 million (USD6.5 million) on the rollout over the next five years. Additionally, Mr Residbegovic suggested prices for the new services would be between EUR35 and EUR70 per month.
