UPC Ireland (including ntl and Chorus) reported revenues of USD275 million for the nine months to the end of September 2008, up 23% from the USD224 million it posted in the year-ago period. Group operating profits climbed from USD70 million to USD105 million as UPC Ireland expanded its broadband subscriber base by 28% to 94,000. In addition, UPC Ireland said it had 23,300 people signed up to its voice telephony service.
