50% increase in profit expected by Telekom Srpske CEO

20 Oct 2008

Telekom Srpske’s CEO, Predrag Culibrk, claims that the telco is on target to finish the financial year with a 50% increase in profits and 25% rise in revenues, Limun.hr is reporting. Following privatisation in 2007, Culibrk states that the operator has progressed in all areas as the telecommunications market in Bosnia and Herzegovina continues to develop, and the executive expects the growth to continue, claiming that the impending privatisation of BH Telecom and HT Mostar will increase competition in the market. It was also revealed that Telekom Srpske currently has approximately 1.06 million users on its GSM-based mobile network, up from the 880,337 it reported at the end of December 2007.
