Zlatan Dedic, the director of the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE), has suggested that February 2009 is the earliest that the privatisation process for state-owned telcos HT Mostar and BH Telecom could be expected, Limun.hr is reporting. The director was speaking at a press conference, where it was revealed that an international conference to discuss the privatisation of the operators would be held in Sarajevo on 22-23 October; the summit is expected to focus on the impact of the process on the local capital market. Mr Dedic has stated that he expects the government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) to adopt an agreed privatisation framework sometime in November, and further expects that the state would select a consultant to oversee the process after that.
