Minister of Communications and Transport for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr Bozo Ljubic, has met with the heads of BH Telecom, HT Mostar and Telekom Srpske to discuss plans for UMTS licensing, Limun.hr is reporting. It is understood that the aim of the meeting was to speed up the creation of regulations for the licensing process, following a decision by the Council of Ministers in May 2008 to offer UMTS licences. No dates have been set for a resolution of the issue but the operators have indicated that they are in the process of upgrading their networks.
