PTK and Dardafone to form MVNO

Kosovan MVNO licensee Dardafone, 48% owned by US firm Unifi Holdings, has announced the formation of a joint venture with state-owned telecoms incumbent The Post and Telecommunications of Kosovo (PTK). Adnan Merovci, Chief Executive Officer of PTK said: ‘Today we signed heads of agreement and thereafter further details will be incorporated, following discussions to take place in the near future’. PTK operates via three business units: Post of Kosovo, Telecom of Kosovo and wireless subsidiary Vala900. Unifi claims to be one of the largest carriers of international voice traffic in the world, and a provider of enhanced telecoms services, applications and telephony products.
