Magyar Telekom begins T-Home rebrand

22 Aug 2008

Hungarian telecoms group Magyar Telekom has begun the process of bringing its fixed, internet and cable services under a single brand, T-Home, replacing the existing set-up of having individual brand names – T-Com, T-Online and T-Kabel. The move is designed to make it easier for customers to identify the operator’s product range and becomes effective from 8 September. At the same time the telco, a majority controlled subsidiary of Germany’s Deutsche Telekom, will update and re-launch its mobile brand name, T-Mobile. The T-Systems brand will continue to be used for SMEs and info-communications services.
