Nexcom expands WiMAX network to Primorsko and Kiten

Nexcom Bulgaria has announced that it has expanded its WiMAX network to the Southern Black Sea coast. Wireless broadband services are now available in Primorsko and Kiten, adding to the company’s already extensive coverage of the tourist region. Having launched in January 2007, Nexcom currently has coverage of 80% of the population in 20 cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants; it plans to achieve 90% population coverage by the end of the year up from the current 45% figure.

At the end of 2007 Nexcom Bulgaria attracted Intel Capital and MCI Management as key investors and partners of the company.
