VoIP provider Glantel drawn to Magnet

21 Apr 2008

Alternative broadband provider Magnet Networks has acquired rival Irish IP telephony firm Glantel for an undisclosed sum, reports siliconrepublic.com. Glantel has been in business for two years and operates out of the so-called ‘Digital Hub’ in Ireland, developing high quality, broadband-based telephone systems for SMEs. In a short space of time it has grown to become a leading provider of converged voice and data solutions to the SME sector – a key draw to Magnet which is looking to exploit this segment of the market.
