Vodacom takes 40% share

Vodacom’s subsidiary in Mozambique says it has managed to increase its cellular market share to 40%, having attracted around 1.5 million customers in the four years since its launch in December 2003. Vodacom competes with mCel, a subsidiary of state-owned wireline operator Telecomunicacoes de Mocambique (TDM).
