Zesko unveils new unified brand name, Ziggo

29 Jan 2008

Dutch multiservice operator (MSO) Zesko Holding has revealed plans to unify its services under the brand name ‘Ziggo’ this year, replacing the company’s existing Casema, @Home and Multikabel brands. Zesko is the brain child of Warburg Pincus and Cinven which together acquired the three Dutch cable operators, to form a new market leader in the Netherlands. Together, the three units provide cable television and broadband services to 3.5 million households — half of all homes in the Netherlands, extending over the north, east, west, and south of the country.
