Irish Broadband launches 12Mbps service

17 Jan 2008

Alternative broadband services provider Irish Broadband has launched two new 12Mbps packages aimed at the residential and business markets. The operator has unveiled its Home Pro 12Mbps and Business Pro 12Mbps services, which it claims are the most cost-effective packages available in the Irish market. At launch the new service will cost EUR159 (USD235) per month, although connection is free. The 12Mbps connection is available to households and businesses in around 40 ADSL+2 enabled exchanges in Dublin and Kildare. The service will be extended to other areas on a staged basis.
