Telenor Srbija chooses NSN as a sole 3G supplier

17 Dec 2007

Telenor Srbija has signed a frame contract with Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) to build a nationwide 3G radio network. Under the agreement NSN will build a W-CDMA/HSDPA network across Serbia over a four year period and it will provide Telenor with a broad range of supplementary services. The deliveries have already begun and the first parts of the new network will start operation in the first quarter of 2008. ‘This contract will firmly establish Telenor as a leader in technology for this region. Our wish is to bring as many Serbian households as possible closer to the standards of modern and advanced societies,’ said Telenor CEO Stein-Erik Vellan.
