State awards contract to Orange Business Services

The Swedish government has awarded a EUR13 million contract to Orange Business Services for the provision of an international IP VPN solution to support data communications at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its 100 embassies and consulates. “Orange Business Services has the best offer for our embassies and consulates,” said Inga Brundell Ohman, Operations Manager at the Government Offices of Sweden department. The French-owned company already provides similar services for the Foreign Affairs Ministries of Finland, Germany, Norway and the EU.
