Hutch Macau launches 3.5G services

Hutchison Telephone Macau (trading under the name 3) has launched commercial 3G/3.5G W-CDMA/HSDPA mobile services, following a HSDPA network upgrade deployed by Japan’s NEC. NEC also installed HSDPA equipment, alongside Siemens, for Hutchison’s Hong Kong branch last December.
