Pure Telecom to launch consumer service

The Irish Times reports that one of the country’s business telecoms specialists, Pure Telecom, is to make a significant push into the Republic’s consumer market following its EUR1.1 million (USD1.5 million) acquisition of NewTel Communications Ireland.

Pure Telecom was founded in 2002 by Paul Connell with business partner Alan McGonnell. The company specialises in providing broadband and voice services to small business customers. It employs roughly 20 people and has an estimated 4,500 business customers. Services offered include inbound and outbound voice calls, telecoms auditing, data management as well as various broadband services over DSL, wireless, satellite and leased lines.
