TDM lights latest link

Telecomunicações de Moçambique (TDM) has inaugurated the latest section of its national fibre-optic network, linking the cities of Beira and Quelimane. Work on the network began in February 2006 and is due to be concluded by 2008. The German company Siemens is installing the cables, and the operation has cost TDM over USD8.5 million, reports Agencia de Informaçao de Moçambique.
