UPC selects euNetworks as main supplier for network capacity

euNetworks, owner and operator of high capacity fibre networks in Europe, has been selected by broadband cable operator UPC as one of its preferred suppliers. Under the terms of the contract, euNetworks will deploy its metro¦nex – multiple redundant, high capacity private fibre rings enabling the provisioning of high performance triple- and multi-play services. Metro¦nex will be deployed in Amsterdam and will seamlessly connect UPC’s 2.4 million internet subscribers both in the Netherlands and across Europe.
