iPass inks deal with T-Mobile to boost customer options

12 Jun 2007

Dutch mobile operator T-Mobile Netherlands has signed a mobile data partnership agreement with global enterprise mobility developer iPass, for the provision of 3G mobile broadband services to iPass customers. The deal, the eighth signed by iPass in seven countries, will offer iPass customers a wider range of connectivity options while on the move. In a statement iPass said that its customers already have access to nearly 2,000 Wi-Fi venues in the Netherlands, and will shortly be able to take advantage of additional connectivity options via the T-Mobile GPRS and UMTS networks, the latter of which offers HSDPA connection speeds of up to 1.8Mbps.
