Irish broadband provider Digiweb has launched a new website, www.nolinerental.ie, to increase public awareness of its wireless alternative to fixed line-based broadband access in the Republic. A spokesperson for Digiweb told online news portal siliconrepublic.com that the inspiration for the new site came from the regulator ComReg’s www.callcosts.ie website. According to Digiweb, Irish broadband users are paying as much as EUR290.16 (USD391.39) per annum in unnecessarily line rental fees.
