XPress completes first phase of network expansion

XPress Telecommunications, the Jordanian iDEN network operator, has announced it has successfully completed the first stage of its network expansion plan. ‘XPress Telecommunications undertook an extensive investment to expand its national network adding yet another 20 cell sites, which cover 20 new business locations in the Kingdom,’ said Marwan Jumaa’, Chief Executive Officer of XPress Telecommunications. The company’s 100,000-strong corporate client-base now benefits from improved coverage in various locations including Aqaba Airport, Eastern Jordan, Northern Badia, the Al Karama Jordanian/ Iraqi border and the Jordanian/Saudi border.
